October

It has been a really long October and I have not even got any candy yet for Halloween. My Hubby had a heartache and it has been a life changing event for us. I can not imagine life without him. We are now cooking and eating healthier than we ever have. We never ate really bad but when life gets busy you eat fast food way to much. It is really amazing how quickly you can adapt when it is life or death. Low or no fats less sugar and alot of fruits and veggies. I feel really good about the changes we are making. I even have more energy and cleaned my craftroom. I separated all my buttons by color, took all my ribbon and put them on floss chips all in two containers what a great space saver. Now my space is ready for some creativity Yay... Back to work after a week off taking care of hubby and now I need a vacation LOL

Great Evening of Friends and Creativity

Fall

It's hard to think about Fall when the temperature is in the high 90's. I enjoy the cooler fall air it gets me ready for sweaters, pumpkins and a lot more crafting. I don't know what it is but sitting in my craftroom with a hot cup of coffee and creating is a good thing. I sat down to make some Halloween cards and started thinking about fall, this card was made with Close to My Heart paper and the pumpkin and words are My Acrylix stamps also from CTMH. I also used glitter glue on the pumpkin.

Week-end to Create

&


Last week-end was so relaxing at the Candy Apple Inn in Julian, Ca. Here are a couple of cards I made with Basic Gray's Lemonade paper. The little card pizza Box is 3.5 x 3.5 and the little cards are 3 x 3 also made with Basic Gray's Paper, Close to My Heart's Summer Sweetness Acrylix stamp set (B1311) The Pizza Box was inspired by Wizard's Hangout.The Cherry cards are 6 x 6. I love going through my stuff and finding ribbon, lace & buttons that just make me feel good.

Heat

I'm sitting here in La Mirage AZ at 7am and the temp is close to 90, did I say 7am... it is going to be over 100 again. I'm a winter kind of girl the heat and I don't agree. We will be driving back to La Mesa today, I really need to come up with some creative room saving ideas on how to bring my craftroom with me when I travel. More later....

Potluck Dish

Getting ready for a Potluck tomorrow at work, I just made a homemade chicken pot pie, it turned out great , now I need to go and make a good bye card for Nora my co-worker I always wait till the last minute to get everything done. I guess I work best under pressure.
